Spain is where I (Max) was born and bred. Originally from Tenerife, I’ve lived pretty much all over the country, which means I know all the ins and outs that make exploring as a traveller a whole lot easier.

Over the last few years, Carol and I have been heading back to Tenerife and the Canary Islands to uncover new spots, as well as taking on an epic, anti-clockwise road trip around mainland Spain starting in Seville.

We’ve done everything from tackling a K3/K4 via ferrata in La Hermida and bear spotting in Somiedo (where they filmed the new Hunger Games!), to driving through the surreal desert landscapes of Bárdenas Reales, eating our weight in seafood across Galicia, and hitting up PortAventura and Siam Park way too many times.
